From ceilings to code
In the summer I worked for the company, building stretched-foil ceilings. Then I redesigned their website: the content architecture first, then the design in Figma, then a full build in Laravel.
The palette is dark plum and forest green, with near-white text at 70 to 95% opacity: dimmed gallery lighting, for a company whose work is light.
The redesign runs as a complete local build. The live site is still the original.
What changes
Projects by the kind of place
The old site filtered its projects by media: photos, galleries, videos. The redesign sorts them by the kind of place: hotels and hospitality, shops and public spaces, homes, exhibitions and installations.
Search across the site
A live search, with the results grouped by category.
History as a timeline
The company’s story since 1989, from stage lighting to museums to stretched foil, laid out one period at a time.
Made for phones
On a phone the same pages stack into one column.
